Hi all I’ve got a 2016 A6 and I recently fitted a new screen etc ( from Ali Express ) and it worked it a treat and then out of the blue the nav , phone , map bits all said initialising or something like that and then says no signal and also the radio would come on for EXACTLY 15 seconds then go off again and then the other night while driving I seen that all the lighting around the navigation wheel wasn’t on but the pressed menu button then they come on radio plays for 15 seconds and the lighting goes off too? The 15 seconds is driving me crazy as I can’t think what relay or timer would be in tandem with it I can’t really find anything helpful on line about either MMI wiring looms and connections or the AMI Socket / Port ( that’s a different conversation which involves me getting the hump with the AMI bit and chopping it out ) ?? any help would be very much appreciated
