Hello all
New member here with my first ever Audi and my first EV. My eTron GT is 3 years old (I've had it 5 months) and I suspect it was originally a demonstrator as it is full of "toys"....which is what made me buy it. Still a boy at heart!
A month or two ago, when I went to start the car in the morning, I had a red warning light with something like "Electrical fault. Stop immediately" (those aren't the words but it's the gist) and the car wouldn't go into drive or reverse. I called out the AA to recover the car to Audi but by the time they arrived it had cleared itself.
The same thing happened again a couple of weeks later but this time it took maybe 8 hours to clear itself. So, I booked the car into Audi to look at the fault and it was a 2 week wait for a routine appointment. The day before my appointment the fault came back and this time it wouldn't clear so I had to be recovered from inside my garage and taken to Audi. I appreciate that the error message is pretty vague but I wondered if there were any similar experiences and what caused it?
The car is currently with Audi. After it had been delivered to them, but before they started work on it, I had a message through the app that there was a recall. It is 82NE replacing high voltage heater. I see there was discussion about this last November so am not sure why mine has only just popped up. Maybe it's not the same one?
I have everything crossed that it comes back soon and will update with the outcome.
