  1. Hi there, I own a Audi a3 8v 1.8 2014 and noticed oil on a spark plug, not excessive but somewhat there. I've done rocker cover gaskets before, but usually they have a gasket that I can just replace, this one seems to be one you silicone on. I've seen some people say you need to take the timing chain off? I presume it's because on the diagram below, the left hand side (where it shows 13) also requires the gasket to be done as you can't take off the rocker cover without that little left hand bit.. can someone confirm ? Or is it just a simple unscrew the rocker cover, re-gasket and done? Doesn't seem practical that I need to remove the timing chain just to re-do the gasket. Thank you.
