I bought a 2017 A3 convertible in May and last weekend for the first time, I had to release the back seats to fit a child seat. Both sides released ok...until I went to remove the seat a few hours later when both levers were slack when pulling.
Not sure how I could have possibly broken both seat levers by simply fitting a child seat!
I don't even own a child but now I have a car with a child seat stuck inside...not cool!
Any ideas on how to fix this? I can live without the seats lowering, bit of a pain but I can live with it, but can't live with a child seat in the back...other than taking a sharp knife and cutting the child seat belt connection that's connected behind the seat and pulling it through
