Not really an answer to your question but I'm 2 months into ownership of an A6 C8 S line black edition Avant. I'm still driving around with a big grin on my face every time I get in it. I got rid of a Range Rover to get it and haven't regretted it for one second.

Easy fix when a:- it's not raining b:- somebody tells you where to look. 2 blocked jets, blown out with an air line.

I've found it thank you very much, I did look there but didn't realise they have made it so neat. What I haven't done yet is fix it as it hasn't stopped raining here today.

I looked there as well, just a wiper spindle coming out of the bodywork.

Hi all, I've only had my car a couple of months and went to put the rear washers on yesterday (avant model) and I could hear the screenwash pump working but no water on the back screen. So this morning I thought I'd have a look, check the washer jet, pipes etc but couldn't find a jet or pipe anywhere. Does anyone know if some cars don't actually have a water jet, only a wiper or am I not looking in the right place. I used a torch to look all around the tailgate but couldn't see anything. Trevor.

Get a test lamp or multimeter onto the starter solenoid pos terminal and see if it lights up when someone in the car tries to start it. If it lights up something is wrong with the starter, if it doesn't something is wrong with the starter circuit.

It did look a bit like something to do with the entertainment system but never having seen one before wasn't sure.

Hello everyone. I've gone from a Range Rover Evoque which I've had for 7 years to an Audi A6 Avant C8 2l petrol, a 71 plate. Picked it up yesterday from the Audi dealer in Yeovil and drove home but as it never stopped raining yesterday it was this morning when I got round to having a good look around it. The only question I have for you guys is what is the big black round thing with wires going to it that lives where the spare wheel would have gone when they used to have such things. A big plastic screw in the middle which I took off to hide my jump leads and things underneath which hopefully I won't use much. Trevor.
