Transmission oil was changed again last week at Audi's insistence, even though I replaced it in Dec following suggestions on forums, but this didn't solve the issue. Audi UK now at a loss and IT has now been referred back to the factory/offices in Germany.

After driving for around an hour (doesn't happen first thing) but when in very slow traffic or stopped, when you pull away the gears try to go from 1-2-3 and sometimes into 4 within seconds and at roughly 5MPH, before it decides that's not happening.. splutters before re-engaging into the correct gear for the speed. Any ideas?

Hi there, both oils have been changed on the gearbox .. I thought it could be that so had them changed, but to no avail.. I will keep Investigating. thanks for the posts.

When crawling along in D2 in heavy slow moving traffic, the car revs and tries to go into D3, very briefly accelerating then stutters.. only happens in very slow moving traffic- stop start scenario. i have auto, manual and sport mode gearbox. any ides?
