  1. Gear box issue

    Hi all, At work we have an A6 estate 62 plate 2.0l tdi auto. It mint inside and out but has knackered gearbox, It has not had a gear service ever from what I can see! Gearbox rattles and only seems to have 3rd gear and reverse. S tronic box and mileage is 162k. I can purchase for 500 quid. Is it worth buying? I am Assuming gearbox replacement and cam belt change, I have use of a ramp and I'm pretty useful on the tools, so there would be no labour costs. Help,advice and guidance please Thanks in advance Martin
