  1. Odd, the Audi specialist used 2 different diagnostic tools with no luck. The tech advised after 2020 Audi started to change access.
  2. Thanks everyone for your help and advice 🙂
  3. So has anyone any personal experience using one of them?
  4. No luck at the garage, needs an ODIS session to get it coded, so booked in again next week.
  5. They can't be that bad surely! Still got a Lion battery in another car 6 years later.
  6. I went with the Lion battery from ECP, my experience of them was good previously. Luckily there is a good Audi independent near me so will be taking it there, hopefully this afternoon 🙂
  7. Got a new battery fitted, however the garage couldn't code it so need to go to an Audi specialist to get that done, but it is running with no faults.
  8. OK, EFB or AGM? The one in it from new is EFB.
  9. Absolutely not. Halfords are Yuasa made, however the CCA rating isn't quite the same as the original in the car now. Found a well priced Lion AGM at Euro Car Parts. Had a Lion previously in a different car, and that's still going strong 5 years plus later.
  10. Exactly, so annoying when changing a battery is usually an easy DIY job!
  11. It was tested, albeit by Halfords, which suggested replacement. I'll ahead and do that, won't be a waste of money if not. Sadly, still need a garage to reset the BMS 😞
  12. Hi, Stalled my 2022 Audi A3 30 today (well, a learner driver did), and it won't start again. AA reset the BMS by disconnecting the battery, wouldn't restart to begin with, then eventually did. Diagnostics showed multiple faults on all modules, and even things like the buttons on the steering wheel wouldn't work. I recall recently a message popping up for electrical system low, and also the other day the doors wouldn't unlock. I mentioned to the AA could the battery be faulty, but he thinks not and to get it to a garage. Any help or advice would be appreciated:)
