  1. Hi Cliff, totally agree with what you're saying. My issue is the car will not even charge to anywhere near to what Audi claim. Before I even get into the car the battery only manages to charge to around 200 miles on a 100% charge. The other day when it was quite cold the battery only charged up to around 180 miles. This is before any driving is done. I've been told the battery is fine. So if I then take into account real world driving I can knock another 10-15% off that figure depending my driving style and other components I may have on the car.
  2. Don't buy an electric Audi. I'm currently driving an Q6 Edition 1 2025 model and the maximum charging range Audi advise is nowhere near to what the car achieves. And this is before any driving is done. The figure is misleading and way off what is achievable. The figure Audi state is around 290-300 miles on a maximum charge. I am lucky if I achieve 200 miles on a good day. However the other day I only achieved around 180 miles. This is before any driving is done therefore you can knock another 10-15% off that figure for real world driving. That is ridiculous. Audi are already under scrutiny for misleading EV charging claims. Save yourself the headache and don't buy electric. The car itself is lovely but the range is so disappointing.
