    Eventually got him to replace the battery on the key with a genuine Duracell and now it's working fine.

    I don't understand, he's been driving it for weeks with this problem and it hasn't cleared.

    My son changed the battery on his key fob after the warning light came on but it made no difference and the light remains on, though thankfully the car still starts. How can we put this out please?
