  1. i have the same model audi a6 2012 plate and it has a CVT gearbox. i keep having gearbox malfunction coming up its going in to driver transmissions birmingham on monday 18/5/26 to sort out the problem the fault code im getting is P0851
  2. when driving the car starts juddering the revs shoots up then as i try and drive it ciunks and cuts out. ive had it diagnosed and was told its a cvt censor the fault was cleared but still happening ive now been told its the gearbox at a cost of £5400.00 has anyone else has same or similar problem
  3. i have fitted new seals on bootlid lights and put a thin bead of automotive silicon both on the seal and on the bodywork where the seal fits the last 3 days weve seen lots of heavy rain ond have had no water in boot cavity hope this helps
  4. my A6 started with water getting boot lid which caused condensation in the rear n/s boot light and the indicator started playing up replaced the light but after 2years it has started again i have removed the rubber bungs at the bottom of the boot lid to stop the water getting inside as all the electrics are by the spare wheel . i am going to replace the seal and also use automotive silicon will update if this works
