Are the bleed nipples on the calipers at the top. If they are on the bottom (which happens if lhs and rhs calipers have been reversed) you will never get all the air from the caliper pots.

Hi , did you get this sorted. I had this issue a few of years ago with intermittently losing all sound to eventually no sound except on frosty mornings. Sent my MMI to a third party e-bay repair service and it was repaired and returned back in the car in 72 hrs. Just search Audi MMI no sound repair and you should get a few listings up. I think the cost for me was £175.00 about 3 years ago and had no problems since.

Obviously you will have changed oil and filter by now, but for next time check your oil filter housing for a drain plug. My 1.6 TDI which is changed from under neath the car has a drain plug that can be removed to drain oil before unscrewing housing. Avoids oil spillage and gives you a home for that small O ring 😀
