Hello, long time lerker but new to posting. I have minimal car knowledge but am willing to give things ago to save myself some money. I have a 2009 audi q5 quattro,2L tdi,6speed manual, caha engine(i think). The problem with her is that i had water ingress into both front footwells and this caused my seatbelt light on the dash to stay on even when nobody is in the passanger seat and/or seatbelt plugged in. I have dried everything completley and checked all fuses which are all fine,i multimeter every wire under passanger seat(eccept airbag one)and all is ok,seatbelt reads fine when not belted and when belted, seat occupy sensor reads good when the seat is empty and goes down when pressure on the seat so thats fine. I multimeter from under seat connectors to the floor connectors and was all fine(same again though,i didn't touch airbag). i took the trim off interior a-pillar near fuse box cover on passanger side and there are 3 chunky comnectors behind there, one is a yellow airbag, one is orange and i think the other was black/grey, i think these connect the floor connectors under passanger seat to the main ecu(but im unsure). The orange connector had corrosion on the bottom pin hole(pic attached). Is it possible to unclip my seat occupy mat from under seat and test it from the actual mat to that orange connector i mentioned,if so does anybody know which hole would be for the seat occupy mat please, P.s my pluggin machine(not a good 1)says Open Circuit / Short Circuit To Positive, and when i tried to do a function test it could get into it. Thank you for any help.
