  1. Cliff. Many thanks again for your prompt reply. FYI here is a list of acceptable audio formats for the 2025 Audi A5. The 2025 Audi A5's MMI infotainment system supports a wide variety of standard and high-fidelity audio formats. Whether you are streaming or playing locally stored music, the accepted formats include: [1, 2, 3] Lossless/High-Resolution: FLAC Compressed/Standard: MP3, AAC, and M4A Apple: Apple AAC and M4A Others: WMA [1, 2, 3] If you are loading music onto a USB-C flash drive or SD card to use directly with the vehicle's system, ensure that the drive is formatted to FAT32 or exFAT for the best compatibility. [1, 2, 3] I’m using music with the M4A format so it shoukd be ok. I can’t think of anything else to try.
  2. Hi Cliff. Thanks for prompt reply. However I’ve checked the acceptable formats for the A5 and the one I’m using M4A is on the acceptable list. By the way what is .ogg? Thanks
  3. Hi. I’m a newbie, having just bought my first Audi. A 2025 A5 Sportback and I’m loving it. The only problem I’m having is trying to play music on the B and O system from a memory stick. I checked some things out already and found that the Audi MMI system doesn’t like memory sticks bigger than 32gb so I bought a 32 gb memory stick and formatted it to FAT32. The music is all formatted to M4A so is not DRM protected. It plays in my wife’s car, a Peugeot 2008 GT. Any ideas will be gratefully received. Looking forward to all your knowledgeable suggestions.
