I've bought an Audi A3 black edition. 2011 tdi quattro. There is no spare wheel. Was looking to buy a space saver for it. My tyre size is 225x40x18. All the space savers I see online are 125x70x18. I am wondering if the 70 is a problem?

  Hi there, did you get a space saver in the end? I bought a 2011 TDi Quattro Black Edition a couple of months ago too and I'm also looking at space savers. I've been looking at part number 1K0601027B which is (apparently) and 18" wheel with a 125/70 R18 spare tyre and a 5 x 112mm diameter wheel bolt arrangement for the Audi A3 8P. They start at about £60 on eBay. I got a quote from an Audi dealer for about £280 for a new one!
