So I've been reading up its valves which for need replacing and to Magnets reply the Conrod in this circumstance isn't or wouldn't be damaged, all depending on what speed was done prior to the snapped cambelt which was no more then 20mph it would be the case of bent valves, head to be skimmed, new waterpump, new timing kit and head gasket kit and obviously will need a professional in to time up the engine and it will be good to go, I've not yet had chance to remove head due to lack of tools but vw and audi specialist have done there checks and say pistons are fine as there's no nasty sounds or noises coming from engine when they manually spin the crankshaft so that's a good sign lol

For sale is my audi a3 2.0FSi in the bestest colour red on 108k which is absolute low milage for the year and absolutely fantastic to drive and drove beautifully until the cambelt frayed and snapped, I have had a vw/audi specialist come and take a look at the car and has confirmed the pistons are fine and lined me up with an eBay seller he gets parts from and have quoted me £355.00 for 8x inlet valves, 8x exhaust valves, timing kit, water pump and headgasket kit. I have also gone to a local engineering company and have gave me a price on head to be pressure tested and skimmed and would cost £150.00 so all in £405.00 and someone will bag a great deal, I'm in no rush to sell her as I know I could fix the car myself and would sell for £2500+ all day long because of it being a low milage motor. This car would want for nothing, was an excellent runner and still could of somebody fixed her, still taxed and mot'ed I'm looking for £950ono I am open to sensible offers as I can make more back then £1700+ in parts alone if I broke this car but is to good to break as all she needs is the money above spent on her and she would make an excellent car, these engines are very bulletproof and very reliable if looked after. Audi has tinted windows and front and rear lights have fly eye tint on, not a lot has been done to the car so can all be put back to standard form easily enough or could be a start for an audi enthusiast to modify the car, a drunken chap recently smashed the rear quarter window however I have a new one ready to fit which cost me £65 posted alone, this effects the car no less as it's down to cosmetic wear, please note car will need to be towed away, car has also just had new cv boot and driveshaft fitted before the cambelt went, if you are mechanically minded and have the parts to hand this will be an extremely low cost to fix and a very low milage car which does hold its value and would resell for easily £2,500-£2,700 located in South West, Gloucestershire.

Hey guys I have had a massive debate over coilovers or bags for the last couple of weeks and I've decided bags take the win, I currently have a 2.5 gallon airlift performance tank with enough lines to do the rear of the car but I do need bags front and rear, auto or Manuel management system, compressor and all other bits, anyone that has anything send me a pm and can decide price ect ect :)
  4. Does anybody have VagCom? Would anyone be willing to plug my car up to there software and see what faults my audi is chucking up also would like to add the follow me home pack/mod as where my car is parked the street gets quite dark at night, can chuck some money's for fuel

Hey guys I am looking into another audi as I regretfully got rid of my 2005 s line audi on 3SDM alloys, the chap wants to swap his a3 for my car which the cambelt has snapped on, how much would it cost to fix the top end of the audi and what parts would need replacing as I have been reading up and so far I've found out valves and guides?? Any help appreciated as I looked on eBay and it's £500 for a complete engine or £700 for a new serviced head buy want to keep costs down as low as possible
