  1. yes seems to have settled so wondered if it was the excess water due to blocked drain plugs contributing to the problem
  2. Just driven home in two hours of torrential rain using wipers in all modes to suit conditions A mile from home after about 90 miles the control stalk became erratic to the point i cannot shut the wipers off from the normal stalk position and the dash board lights that show fuel consumption went to a < 2.00 > and that as gone and no mileage showing. An electrical glitch for sure but any ideas appreciated. Looked under bonnet all dry. Did go through some surface water prior to the wiper glitch but surely all controls for wipers in inside the cabin Car is a 2000 A4 2.4 SE Petrol . Automatic V6 Few hours later seems to have settled Maybe as i used the wiper stalk maybe i was touching computer reset etc until it confused itself / fairly new to the Audi
  3. Got lucky on the Audi as previous owner bought an hotel / bar in Spain and wanted my London taxi for promotional work / case of right time / right place for once. Good spec and have all paperwork from day one including dealer bill of sale specifying all extras fitted and prices Also have all relevant books from Audi and spare key plus stainless pedals from Audi but not fitted yet Fuel consumption favourable if not driven in anger Overall well engineered and a really great vehicle Ps London taxi was a whim / used as a daily / wife hated it but loves the Audi ( peaceful life ahead )
  4. Old Guy but new to Audi Just acquired an Audi A4 2.4 V6 Petrol Saloon Under 92 k verified miles and very nice trim level with leather seats, walnut dash inserts and arm rests Totally standard with very little scuffs or dings on body work From this photo fitted pressed alloy number plates and new front tyres the only two advisories were tyres and number plate damaged Live in West Sussex , retired and loving the Audi
