Key fob failing to unlock drivers door, all others ok? Works for a while then stops for a while then not!!! Any aides please?

Can anyone help? I recently changed the front brake pads on the car, warning light went out but now is coming on intermittently again anyone have any ideas on cause?

Can anyone give me an idea of what this wheel colour is,it is a 2009 sline but the dealer advises this is silver according to the computer. It's a gunmetal grey colour but need a touch up as invade had a disagreement with a kerb when getting out of the way for an ambulance!,,,
