    Thanks for you reply Trevor. the car is now in limp mode. It did clear then this happened.

    Hi new on here hoping someone can help a bit, was driving today and the particulate filter symbol appeared after a while it disappeared and was replaced with the glow plug symbol flashing, along with the emissions control symbol which looks like an engine management icon. anyone any idea on what to do apart from the obvious in taking it straight to Audi. thank you craig
