Hi i got some bandage type stuff [ apparently used in boats] to seal the hole but i still seem to have a ticking over issue in that if the car idles for about 5 mins then it drops revs a wee bit [as if its hunting] but a wee rev clears it until next idle i know im a bit vague but does anyone have any ideas many thanks in advance Mik

Thanks for that advice Trevor, i will get a look at the weekend for clamps, im wondering about the dimensiond of the hose as i think i can buy them from a parts supplier in Edinburgh

Hi im a complete newbie so please be gentle with me,ive just bought an A3 3.2 quattro and had it motd on saturday which the car sailed through, im replacing the front wings as theres a wee bit rust so just as easy to renew, the only problem i have is theres a small hole in one of the cat flexi hoses [not rust] and im wondering if anyone knows of a fix without the massive cost of repacing the whole lot thanks in advance mik
