  1. Hi All my 2013 A5 3.0 Quattro Auto has strange vibration/shudder only when it gets to 90 degrees ( normal operating temp) it is really noticible in idle when reversing, but also in first. Have noticed it is vibrating slightly now in neutral but not as bad.you can hear it, and feel it through the seat and steering wheel. audi have replaced gearbox as a gesture of good will and will be doing engine mounts next week, however, I am still not convinced as it feels like a loading issue and not something coming through mounts. only 10.5k on clock. have had mention of DFM or clutch, but any other ideas or suggestions would be very helpful as it is driving me mad. look forward to any help Cheers jim
  2. Evening all just joined and wondered if anyone can recommend a good technician in Warwickshire area to check out/diagnose my A5 3 litre Quattro (auto) which has a shudder when idling in reverse - only when its warm??. 2013 - 10k on clock. Also does it in first (idle) but not as bad thanks j
  3. Cheers Trevor seems to do it more when on full lock going forward. Reverse does it straight and turning? Only seems to do it when idling. jim
  4. Hi all Wonder if anyone can help. Have just bought 2013 3.0 litre Quattro cabriolet (auto) from non Audi dealer and have noticed when reversing once engine is warm it sometimes shudders. Also does it when driving back onto drive at very low revs - again only seems to be when warm. The RPM seems to be pretty stable. Car only done 9,900 miles. Could this be the dual mass flywheel/clutch with such low miles ? It also seems to bite quite hard when take foot off break for pulling away - even with foot off accelerator. Revs are showing @800. Apart from that car drives great. Car has full Audi service history and one previous ( plc company) owner. I have just got rid of my leased A6 Allroad which drove like a dream, so not sure if I am being over concerned as totally different type of car. Any comments help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I will take to main dealer for a chat but my wallet hurts just thinking about that. Thanks j
