  1. Hi guys, Trevor, thanks for the welcome and the suggestions. Anthony, sorry to hear you’re having the same problems. As way of an update, I’ve now had the car for 12 months and covered some 15,000 miles. Unfortunately I still haven’t found a solution to the issue. Which is disappointing as it’s taking the shine off owning such an amazing car. I’ve tried sitting in other A6’s with different seat mechanisms and finished (cloth, leather, alcantara) and all have the same issue. So I have resigned myself to it being an issue with me and the way I’m built. I have driven other makes of vehicles during this time and don’t have the problem. I’ll speak with Audi again when it goes in for service to see if they have any further reccomendations.
  2. Hi All, I'm new to the Audi brand, having finally seen the light and moved over from BMW, so I apologise in advance if my questions are stupid. Last Friday I picked up a 17 plate S6 Avant black edition, and every aspect of the car is amazing, apart from one issue. The Sports seat and pedal placement. When I completed an extended test with an S6, the electric seats were easy to place in a position where I was comfortable, however with my vehicle this doesn't seem to be the case. Leaving me with a pain in the back of my right leg caused by the right hand front corner of the seat digging in. No amount of adjustment seems to get rid of this. Additionally if I set the seat so I can reach the foot rest with my left foot. My right leg is bent excessively to use the pedals. Moving the seat so I can use the pedals in comfort leaves me unable to reach the foot rest. (For the record my legs are both the same length). Oh and the brake pedal is a good couple of inches forward of the accelerator making switching between the two a very conscious effort. All in all making for a very awkward feeling drive. Is this how it should be, and I'll just have to get use to it? Or is there something wrong here which I need to get Audi to look at? Many thanks in advance.
