  1. Hi, Does anyone have a cup holder for sale at a reasonable price? Nothing on eBay or similar under £120. Any condition considered. Many thanks.
  2. Thanks. His design is different. I have read that certain models have this extra nozzle from the air-box (before 2000 models I think.) I can see adding a filter if you have this hose, and I can see it fitting on the intake extension, but what I am unsure of is what to do if you don't have the hose. Oh well, seems to run ok. I suppose I can just block it off and see what happens.
  3. Thanks, Steve, No, the only one intake in the box which comes from a scoop at the front. The thing that worries me about this pipe is that it is after the filter, which surely means that air is drawn in through this rather than through the filter (path of least resistance, and all that). I'm worried that this means the majority of the air entering the charger is unfiltered. Are there any how-to links on here for after market short arms? I couldn't find any. Thanks.
  4. A quick, and possibly stupid question. I just purchased a short air intake upgrade for my 02 TT mk1. As you will see in the atached picture, it has a short pipe at the top, but I can't for the life of me what this is for or if it is supposed to attach to something? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  5. Hello, I am about to try and replace my left hand "alien" headlight cleaner. The car had its bumper replaced before I bought it, and it appears the plastic "L" connector on the alien has broken off (#8 on the schematic attached). I'm presuming that as it has broken off at the alien body, I'll need to buy a new alien. However, while I was preparing, as I know it's going to take a bit off effort to remove the bumper, etc., I noticed that along with the main feeder pipe (#16), there appears to be some kind of rubber return pipe running to the right-hand alien as well. Does anyone know what this is for, as it is not on the schematic??? I haven't removed the bumper yet, so it is a bit hard to get a picture. Also, any other tips from those that have attempted this before? Many thanks.
  6. Hello, I am a new Audi owner - or at least the new owner of a very old Auld TT - and am a bit clueless about obtaining the "safe" code for the radio. The code has been lost to the ages long ago, and there is no way I can track it down from a previous owner. I've done a lot of online research, and I know each radio is unique and has an individual code. I also know that the serial number on the radio is required to search for the code at a dealer. My question is where to get this search done? I have contacted several dealers, and their quotes range from a reasonable £15 (reasonable I suppose, although I disagree that an anti-theft device should be something used to make a profit) to a ridiculous £85! I see there are several online services that offer to provide a code if you provide the serial number, but I am weary if these actually work - they seem to be around £10. I'm sure this is an old and hackneyed topic, and I apologise if it is, but I am exhausted with online searches and just need some straightforward advice. Many thanks.
