  1. Just taken delivery of a new A8 and Q7. We wanted dash cams and decided to go with the Audi UTR - What a mistake! The weather gets warm and they fall off the windscreen. You can't get spares or a new baseplate or pads so it's a whole new unit - lucky they are under warranty. Now Audi, or whoever make these units, upgrade the app four days ago and it is impossible to connect so the units are now useless. The dealer hasn't go a clue on troubleshooting this product and Audi UK refer me back to the dealer so I am going around in circles. No bad for spending £140K with Audi this year alone. Anybody thinking of dash cams needs to think very carefully before buying this product.
  2. Stunning interior to the new A8 but the finger prints on the touch screens are annoying. Microfibre cloths are OK but they don't get rid of the greasy marks. It needs some form of lens/screen cleaner Audi cannot answer and I am reluctant to use product that might end up damaging the screens. Any help would be appreciated Bob
  3. Hello all, I am a new member and this is my first post so treat me gently! I have a 2017 A8 after owning a 2015 for two years. My warning light shows 'Particulate Filter Fault' and the car when idle sounds like a helicopter fan. I am told by Audi break down and the dealer that I should not drive my A8 diesel for short journeys. All my journeys should be long and if, by chance I drive 10 miles to work then I should flash the car up the motorway for 20 to 30 miles at 2000rpm after work. This seems absolutely stupid especially as I have just driven 300 miles to Devon and back. They tell me there is no fault with the car. So I have a luxury car that I cannot drive 10 miles to work. Aghrrr!
