  2. Hi Steve, Wow, that was a fast answer! Off the top of my head I'd say you started typing it as soon as I posted my question :D Thanks for the feedback. It's interesting that your gauge fluctuates too. It's my first Audi, having owned Skoda, VW and Ford before and all their gauges were rock solid. When I DID have a fluctuating gauge it was actually the thermostat. I'll keep it under observation, the car still has about 6 months and 15.000km warranty, so I could have it replaced for free probably if it's gone. Cheers, Adrian
  3. Hello world, This is my very first post as I bought a 2015 SQ5 Tdi today. When I picked up the car it was warmed up. I then proceeded to drive home, about 2.5 hours drive, out of which the first 30 minutes were in a 80km/h limit area going up and down some mild hills. At some point during these 30 min I noticed that the coolant temp was about 75 degrees, instead of 90...which seemed odd, but thought maybe the car wasn't really warmed up when i picked it up. I continued to watch the gauge for the next minutes and it went up to almost 90, then back down, then back up a few times. Finally upon going up a hill it reached 90 and stayed there for the remainder of the 80 limit portion of the trip. Once I reached the highway and sped up to 120km/h it stayed on 90 until I got home. Did anyone have this happen before? My first thought would be faulty thermostat (or sender) but maybe it's normal? Cheers!
