  1. Hi, I have a problem with my Audi A4 1.8 TFSI 2008 bonnet sensor. Few days ago the oil yelow light came on (add oil,max 1 l. you may continue to drive). Last service was 5k miles ago in Feb 2017 (major service was done). I have added 1 l ( drove approx 100miles) but the light is still on. I have done some research and I found that the oil sensor resets once the hood is opened. The thing is that my hood sensor doesn't work as when I open the hood is not displayed on the MMI ( all the other sensors are working - for the doors and boot). I took the latch apart , took the micro switch and cleaned it but is still not working( the MMI doesn't show that the hood is opened). Therefore I think that's why the oil sensor is not reseting . Note: I don't have a dip stick ( if you know what kind of dip stick i need and where I can order it,please let me know). As a solutin, I am thinking to buy a new latch and replace the old one or should I buy only the micro switch? Or what do you think is the best way forward. thanks... English isn’t my first language, so please excuse any mistakes.
