Hi all, I’m looking to take over pre-owned Audi A6 (C8) registered in nov 2020 car in the coming week. I did a PPI (reputable Audi 3rd party workshop) and requested agent service record from current owner. PPI company also suggested on repair cost (shown in Singapore dollar) . See photo 1-8 for PPI report. See photo 9-14 for Audi agent service report. I’m a little bothered that many issues has been flagged out and things has been replaced in a short age the car. Also, in the last 1y3 months the car was driven +/-27,000km (given that I’m living in Singapore, this is considered high mileage). Only comfort is that the car is regularly serviced and maintained by Audi. 1. Have you encountered any of the error codes shown in the PPI report? 2. And is the parts replaced by Audi is a concern/sign of abused car by current and previous owner ? 3. What service and repair cost am I looking at for this car at current mileage (91,000km) and beyond? 4. should I get Audi extended warranty ? Or should I look for 3rd party workshop for warranty? 5. Please enlighten me on wear and tear to look out for? I’m looking to own this car for roughly 3 years Car details: Model: Audi A6 (c8) Registered: Nov 2020 Current mileage: 91,000km Number of previous owners: 2 Under Audi warranty: Yes, expires in 5 months or when 100,000km Last service done: May 2025 by Audi agent Concerns: • DRL is yellow. Believe the led is burnt. Saw couple of post in Reddit and YT. Not sure if it’s foc under agent warranty. • Emergency SOS module known to have other electronic issues. • Oil leak detected. • fault code detected during scan. See photo Feel free to ask me more details of the car if I’ve missed out anything. Many thanks in advance for all your feedback. Cheers!

Hi, all had my car read yesterday, and I've got code p3138 which is variable intake manifold, switchover valve; regulation difference. Has anybody had this fault before and could shed some light on it for me please? I've had the glow plug light flashing that's why I had the codes read.

Got some PCV hoses and an oil filter/cooler housing to replace which I need to remove the plastic upper inlet manifold to do. On every other car I've worked on, this has been a fairly simple task but this looks like a right pig – I can't work out how I can remove it without taking the whole front bumper off and removing the radiator?! I've downloaded the Haynes manual which is about as much use as a chocolate teapot. Am I missing something? I don't want to have to pay a VAG independent to do something that should be fairly simple but is this beyond possibility doing it on my driveway?!

Hi guys, By the way this is my first post. I would like some help please, I have removed the air intake manifold and cleaned all the carbon mug inside the unit. My question is what position are the swirl flaps inside the manifold with the actuator vacuum bolted to the manifold. The metal control arm that opens and closes the flaps with the actuator vacuum has broken off. I plan is to use quick steel epoxy putty on the piece to hold it in place. Will the flaps been closed or opened when I use quick steel putty to bond the arm to the flap rod? In that picture 2 is the metal piece I need to attach to the rod for the flaps to open or close inside the manifold. I'm assuming actuator vacuum unit is bolted back onto the manifold the flaps are in the closed position I just need clarification this is correct?
