Featured Replies

Hello,

I have recently baught a x reg Audi 1.8 Turbo Quottro. I love It. Its fast for a 1.8, comfy and stable when driving. The looks for that type of range I feel If much better than the competition (VW-FORDS).

Just want to know how people feel about there own A3 and If there was anything they changed to make it even better to share :)

Oh It's a pro's con's game:P

Pros

remaps are cheap and for £300 you should get an extra 35 - 45 bhp if you want more power then you need to spend a few quid.

driving in the wet is fun !!!

keep the oem 17" wheels if you can, the car will handle a little better

Cons

OEM rear spring prone to snapping

Roof Rails bubble from corrosion beneath the paint really common

lower front doors rust

aerial mount

CTS - will need replacing and thermostat

softtouch paint peeling on buttons and switches

pixels on DIS

An RNS-E upgrade with bluetooth is well worth the effort to update the cars interior and retro fit the Recaros if you dont have them already
