Apple CarPlay

Featured Replies

When connecting my iPhone via USB to my 2018 A4, I’m able to find Apple CarPlay on the cars menu and use no problem. However if l disconnect the lead, the ACP disappears from the menu and I’m unable to use. Bluetooth from my phone to car are paired. Any ideas where l might be going wrong to use without the lead?

Marvin, you probably only have wired Carplay, so the option only shows when phone plugged.
Also nice to either say you or introduce yourself on first post.

On BT, music, calls, etc works via car's MMI, but your carplay probably is USB only.
