Car not moving all of a sudden

My AUDI 8P was driving normally, gears were shifting normally, no noises or knocks or anything. However, few days ago I started up the car, engine noise was normal, and then I proceed to put it into D however the car is not moving at all. Tried putting it into R as well and there is no movement. Car is revving normally however gears are not working. I feel like it is extremely strange that all of this happened just like that with no prior symptom of something within the gearbox going wrong. What could the issue potentially be? 

It has a DSG gearbox, have tried resetting the gearbox as well with no success. I've attached a video of the issue I'm facing.

The car is A3 1.6 MPI TECHNIK 2009.
