Stick it 6 and hit cruise and leave it as much as possile, auto setting will adjust accordingly but generally I find the stiffer steering a little more stable on the the roads, especially as the A6 steering can feel a little light on economy. I have a 3.0 auto and at time have hit 49-50mpg when poodling. 😱

Hi Raja Welcome to the Forum, if you go to the Audi A7 owners part of the forum there is plenty of people talking about different issue's and or benefits too, there is another fellow member looking to buy one too, if you look at the replies I'm sure it will help you with your decision, but my opinion would be that it's a fantastic car! ;) If you do decide to get it please post some pictures for everyone to have a look, would be great to see it! :) Regards Bradley

Hi Trevor I had this exact issue, it could be the air control valve or a vacuum leak which mine was the vacuum leak at the turbo side of things, I'd have a diagnostics run and see if it comes up with a vacuum leak, I also experienced it going into Limp mode too. Regards Bradley

The best thing with this to call one of the paint companies direct, companies like PPG or Akzo Nobel, they usually have a customer care centre and can give support to specific colour codes if you have it. Failing this you can chase the stockist/suppliers such as LKQ coatings, they'd have what you need to help you.

Evening, I work in vehical paint! I was responsible for the Caterham/Team Lotus F1 Teams race cars along with their their 2013 effort LMP2 cars between worked for the team between 2010 - 2014 also did a few MOTO GP 2 bikes and also the teams GP2 cars under the team name Caterham. I went on to work at McLaren in Woking looking at after the P1 paint processes and how the cars were done along with additional work on McLarens 2015 F1 cars. Since then I been setting up large factories that support vehicals parts as tir 1 suppliers to Aston Martin, Mclaren, JLR & Bentley. It's a humble career that's consumed my life but for all the hard work means I get to blast around in my Audi A6 3.0TDI which in true motorsport fashion at least has launch control! I love it ....500 nmt at my disposal is fun, can't wait to move up,to the S6 I'm after.

I heard of a Range Rover owner recently who wasn't told about putting AdBlue into the tank. As a result, the car stopped and wouldn't restart until reprogrammed by the dealers at huge cost. His argument was he wasn't told he needed to do this and that it was the dealers responsibility and won the case.

They are both great looking cars and as you say...fully loaded with Tech,can't go wrong. Hope you get a quick sale on the Ford

I had a similar clonk driving down a multi story carpark. It turned out to be the C links that connect the front anti roll bars to I think the wish bone. Not that expensive Good luck

Hi, back 20th December I changed,.... or rather Audi changed the starter motor at my request. I had put cables in on each side of the starter solenoids and measured the voltage each time I started the car. As luck had it, it did fail and this time I was measuring the voltage at the furthest down stream to the starter. So I knew I had a voltage out of the last major component. According to Audi if I had a supply to the starter motor and it did not turn, then the diagnostics should register a fault. There was never a fault registered. But according to my fault finding, it was the starter motor. OR I think the solenoid on the starter motor. Trying to find a new starter is not easy, and in the end although I found one, the logistics of get and returning the old one made Audi not that expensive. To date it has not fai, but I still have the cables fitted, because I want to give it TIME. So if you are desperate this is where I would focus Hope this helps Cheers Jez

Agree with @Trevor Also theres all different parts of the turbo, Have a look at this link, its the circle bit at the top/next too your turbo buts it's apart of the turbo. http://www.gfb.com.au/tech/troubleshooting/20-blow-off-valve-leaks-boost Look at the picture linked :) Different cars have different positions for the turbo, look for a big pipe then play the maze game with it lol Good luck anymore help needed don't hesitate to respond back! :)

Morning all! Just joined the forum today. I bought my 2016 model A5 S-line Cabrio in November and I must say that so far I am 95% delighted with it. It was an ex-demo model, so I didn't spec it myself. Only ONE gripe - no glovebox light! What is this all about? All my other vehicles have had glovebox lights as standard, but on my A5 its a 'different lighting pack' apparently. Other than that it's fully loaded - unbelievable! My A5 is still in warranty but this is not covered and I have been advised that it would be expensive to get retro-fitted. I am also uneasy about getting any work done outside Audi in case I invalidate my warranty. Does anyone have any advice? (Yes, I have placed a torch in the vehicle!!!)

Hey guys new to the forum but keen to get people a bit more active about talking about their A7s good or bad. I've just bought mine, upgraded from an A5 petrol (with the doomed engine). Very impressed with the drive and comfort, certainly smoother. I don't have folding mirrors or Bose but would be keen to retrofit myself. It does have 21" Rs6 2016 wheels (they're optional for the A7 now but in 20s, interested on trading or someone buying these, I like the older RS style wheels (5 spoke made up of 3 spokes). Chris

Hi Chris, I upgraded to an A7 this week and absolutely love it. Mines only an SE but (245bhp) fully loaded with extras.
