    My only experience of alcoholic petrol (E10) is in a low mileage Yeti, so the fuel stays in the tank a long time with plenty of opportunity to absorb moisture, yet it has never caused a problem.

    Incidently most fuel tanks are plastic nowadays so rust is not a consideration.

    It will get much worse in low temperatures and you may even see drops of water dripping from the exhaust pipe. Ignore it. If it ever changes to blue black or white smoke come back to us because that would indicate a problem.

    A little "smoke" on start up is usually just steam i.e. condensation. If it disappears after a few minutes it is perfectly normal and nothing to worry about.
