Two weeks ago I did this. And it was awesome. I would honestly recommend anyone do this. Plus you can drive a selection of Audi's there too.

I laughed at no or low but I guess there are those among us that might no even think to check it has fuel. Don't blame you for not wanting to trip something, could be catastrophic. Glad I could be of some sort of help, Glen.

Not sure exactly why but I got to round to wondering what it is about our Audi's that make us love them? Any thoughts?

Hi Dani. I would think that the sensor itself is to blame. After a quick search that would seem the most likely cause. I also found this list of other potential problems. - High fuel pressure - Low fuel pressure - Damaged FRP sensor - Excessive resistance in the circuit - Low or no fuel - Wiring harness connector of the fuel pressure sensor - Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor - Fuel My background isn't in mechanics so I'm afraid I'm of little use when it comes to how to fix it. Hopefully somebody else on here knows.

Some cars these days look stocky and badly proportioned; and that's hardly surprising. Consider this for a moment. Cars have to have a lot of safety equipment on board and have enough space for it's occupants. You then have to consider what type of car it is i.e. is it a hatchback, saloon, estate, convertible, SUV supermini and so on? Money is also a factor. Do you have enough money to sit at a drawing board designing the front doors again and again and again? Most likely, no. So the A5, a four door saloon with a coupe body style. That couldn't have been easy to do. First you need all the space in the backseats so that rear passengers can sit in comfort, as they expect from an Audi. So immediately the roof line cannot taper too early as it does in most coupes. But you can't leave it too late because if it does it won't look like a coupe. The A5s solution is that it doesn't have an aggressive taper and starting it off really slowly before finally increasing its angle behind the heads of the passengers. Good, you have a coupe with four doors. Safety equipment is jam packed in this car. Take it from me, if you crashed into a wall in this, you might be safer than you would be if you crashed into a cloud, in a F1 car. With that in mind you have to wonder, how is there enough space inside for four people? Well that might have something to do with the fact that it's deceptively big, over four meters long to be exact. It is a big car and yet it doesn't look it. Safety equipment with good space, fantastic. And fortunately for Audi they did have enough money to sit at the drawing board. I love the wavy line down the edge of the car and the curvy elegance that it creates. To be honest the whole thing looks taught and curvy. Just wonderful. In bringing all these elements together in one neat package Audi has managed to create the illusion of effortless elegance. Then again this is all just my opinion on the matter, what's yours?

I'm curious as to what the noise you're hearing is. You've said you're hearing a noise but not said what it is so it's hard to say what it might be and how it could be fixed. Glen

What is the coolest Audi around? The R8, TT or the RS4? Nope, for me it's the A1 supermini. What I like about it is that it's economical, practicle; everything you'd expect of a supermini and it's also stylish, nippy in a tight spot and unmistakably Audi. It's not like you'll step in and identify it as any other brand as it has all the quality materials you've come to expect from Audi. You get the performance and grip without going through gallons of fuel. The best thing is that it won't irritate anybody who holds a place in their heart for the environment. Guilt free Audi motoring, how cool is that? Owners out there, what are your thoughts?

Just in case the issue hasn't been fixed since this post, it sounds like you may have a software glitch in your car as modern machines, Audi's included, have what is essentially a computer at the heart of the electrical systems, which can develop glitches just like any other computer. You may know that most cars nowadays have a laptop plugged into them when mechanics perform diagnostics. I would think this is what's wrong with your car. Obviously I can't tell exactly because I haven't experienced it in person but that's my first thought. If you intend to fix it yourself I'm not entirely sure how you would go about doing it outside of taking it to a garage or dealer. I hope this helps you and please let me know how it all turns out. Hi Pave. I've just done a quick search for companies near you and I found this list of companies which might be able to help you. I've looked at some of the services AP Engineering do under customization and it sounds like they do what you're looking for. I'm not sure how far you're willing to go (geographically) to get this work done as they're in Essex. There are some closer to you but I'm not sure if they're completely in line with what you want.
