  1. Sorry Gareth, I was going to see whether there was an OEM version or secondhand one available. And ideally as it’s an easy install, I was going to install it myself. Thanks. Leigh.
  2. I have contacted Audi UK as the dealer wasn’t replying. In short, they have both said the same thing - and Audi UK’s response is below...... “Thank you for your email. We do not personally provide part numbers; instead we see any queries as an opportunity to create business for the Centres within our Audi Network. I hope you understand our position regarding this, and our effort to create a relationship with individuals who drive our vehicles. I’m sorry I’d be unable to assist you any further on this occasion. Please get in touch if I can help with something else”
  3. Looks like I need to replace the whole loom. Any ideas on where I can find the part number of the loom? Thanks.
  4. Update: mechanic took a look and found that another piece of the loom had broken. He hasn't replaced it - just stripped and solded where it was broken. All working fine. Apparently, as Audi decided to put bends in the wire, due to heat and light, these then have a tendency to break. My view is that if when you turn the wheels. and the warnings come on the dashboard, it's a broken wire/sensor. HTH. Leigh.
  5. Not sure, will have to ask., Are they easy to fit? Anybody know the Audi and Bosch part number. Assuming I need the whole loom. Cheers.
  6. Hi Charlie - my mechanic replaced the abs sensor, and it worked fine for a while, and now it's come back - intermittent. Which is a right pain as when he turned up last week - it was working.... Problem is that with all these warnings, I can't engage cruise control, and therefore I'm not driving it at the minute. If you have any joy. let me know please. Thanks. Leigh.
  7. Thanks Paul and Steve. It seems that I need a whole new headlight.... How can I find out the part number i need for my model and year? I don't want to replace both, so I need the same type as the other one. Thanks.
  8. Not sure... heres a photo of the broken bit in situ
  9. Hi all, The bracket that holds that headlight in place has broken. Having looked at headlights, they don't seem to have this as part of the headlight package, so can somebody tell me what I need, part number, etc? Thanks.
