  1. I'm going to look at how to report this a safety issue and parts recall as looking through this thread so many people have been affected. Am going to try fight it as even the as said there was a parts recall on it so will Look into it. Unfortunately my car is stuck at audi so won't leave till Its paid
  2. So glad I found this forum and topic. Issue came up for us and brakes felt funny so called the aa. They had this issue on thier books as a regular fail and towed the car to audi as it shouldn't be driven. Now audi are holding us ransom for £480 to fix the brake servo fault.... Totally speechless. Apparently the work will take 1 1/2hrs..... Car 4 months out of warranty. Pretty annoyed since this appears to be a very common fault. Even the parts guy said yes we've done loads of these recently. I don't see how this can't be a recall.... Anyone had luck arguing this is a small job after watching the YouTube video??? What really surprises me is the dash message saying the car can be driven. This is totally Incorrect...... 🤷‍♂️
  3. To circle back to this topic and update my findings in case this helps anyone else. The best options I found were the following: option 1 - The older style Wingebar - Thule wingbar 961, 118cm. Need the Thule Rapid 753, and Kit 4002 Option 2 - The newer Wingbar - Thule WingBar Edge 9593, and again the Kit 4002 I went for the older style as managed to find a nice set at a very decent price. whisper quite and strongly recommend with the Thule roofboxes :)
  4. Hi Everyone, Looking at getting a set of roof for my 2014 Q7 as need some extra space on camping holidays and longer trips as well as maybe even for Ski's and snowboards in future. From my research for the Bars, either genuine Audi or the Thule wingbar seem to the best the best options for noise and ease of use. For Boxes, Thule again, or Kamei. Wanted to ask if anyone has good or bad experiences on these, and if there are any clear standouts you would recommend that you are using? Thanks in advance
  5. Looks great. Did you wrap yourself?
  6. Thanks for the kind reply. Yes already arranged GAP via a reputable 3rd party at a fraction of the price vs the crazy amount the dealer kindly offered.
  7. Hi Everyone, Picking up my Q7 on Saturday and wondering if many people have any experience with Alloy and tyre insurance for their Q7's? Are these worth it? I know the Q7 can be heavy on tyres and pretty costly Appreciate any views. Thanks in advance
