    DPF

After leasing my last couple of cars, I have never thought about maintenance because the cars where not mine and regularly serviced. Due to the increase in car leasing prices I decided to purchase my Audi A6 at one year old and with low mileage. I now think more about problems I may have in the future when the warranty expires, such as the DPF. I have heard horror stories mainly with low usage of the DPF failing and failing after 50 or 60k miles. Just when warranty expires. Apparently costing thousands to replace. I have looked on the net and come across this geezer from Australia explaining the DPF and why they really only cost a few hundred pounds to manufacture. Have a look at the Youtube link, very informative, I know it's only an opinion but seems reasonable to me, also have a look at what he says about Premier Diesel too. Thanks Mark
  3. , Past 2 cars had keyless entry and I found it convenient. Always put key in my jeans pocket, still find it a bit awkward to keep digging in pocket for key but not the end of the world. The car is lovely and a pleasure to drive, best car I’ve had so far but did buy my missus a TT a few years ago and that was also an excellent car to drive. But she hardly used it so it had to go. Regards Mark
  4. Had car 6 days and must admit it is the best I've had so far. Done around 800 miles this week and averaging around 48 MPG. Happy with this for a 4 wheel drive car. Will break even with mileage allowance from work. It is a pleasure to drive.
  5. I thought with the small sensor on the door handles it would have the option but may be not
  6. Had my A6 3 days now and covered over 500 miles and it is a pleasure to drive. Just wondering if the key less entry can be disabled. It doesn’t seem to work on my car, can only open and lock using the key fob. can’t find anything in the manual or through scrolling through the car MMI. ANy one any idea how to re-programme to work? Regards Mark
  7. Found them inside the drivers door.
  8. Excellent thank you. Could not find them in manual
