Looking for some advice, Have just bought a 1.8t Quattro and I'm looking for a little more grunt. My last quick car was a 280bhp Astra Coupe Turbo, and I certainly miss the "thrown in the back of the seat" feeling! Thinking about a remap, and long term maybe a bigger turbo. Do these engines respond well to aftermarket air filters? Any other help is much appreciated :-) Chris

Thanks for the welcome guys, had turbo'd cars in the past but this'll be my first 4wd car. Got a few gradual plans for the car, mainly to sort out the audio, if its needed, and more than likely begin the quest for more power!! Star performance, the vw / Audi specialists are only half an hour from me, so I expect I'll see them before too long!!

Good evening guys. Just thought id post a quick hello to you all from lovely, windy, Scotland. I have just purchased my First Audi, a 2001 A6. Its the SE Quattro Model, with the renowned 1.8t 20v engine.... I pick it up a week tomorrow, and i cannot wait!! Pictures to follow soon!
