  1. Hi Gareth, Thanks for your reply. No I couldn't find them before I went to have the tyres done either, but they even said afterwards they had put them back in the boot, signifying they must have used them today. All very odd indeed, perhaps I'm just not looking properly!
  2. Hi all, I might be being dumb, but in my 2016 SQ5, I can't find the key for my locking wheel nuts. The manual says it should be the toolkit in the boot, but I can't see anything in there that looks like the usual style locking wheel nut key, just a bunch of random-looking screwdrivers and wrenches. The wheel nuts have a cover over them, is this the security and you use one of the screwdriver looking things? or am I missing them and need to contact Audi. I had my tyres changed today, and they didn't struggle so I could just be being an idiot! Thanks, Dan
  3. My view on this is to always replace tyres with the same as what Audi supplied the vehicle with from new. There is a reason they test and deliver the vehicle with a certain brand/model of tyre.
  4. Hi - welcome. This may or may not help, but I had an issue with an A3 a few years back with exactly the same thing. Called out Audi Assistance (RAC) and it turned out to be a sensor issue with the accelerator pedal getting a bit of dirt in it and triggering an error! He cleaned it out and was absolutely fine after that.
  5. Cool, thanks very much for your input. I suspected it was about right for a main dealer, just wanted to be sure. Sadly as it's still in warranty etc.. I wouldn't feel comfortable using an independent at the moment, but would in the future.
  6. OK thanks. The service guy said it would take an hour, so that put the two pads at £145, does that sound reasonable?
  7. Hi all, New here and this is my first post. I have a '16 SQ5 and my rear brake pads need replacing. I've been quoted £245 to supply and replace them. I have no idea of the cost of this sort of thing on this type of vehicle, so I'm just wondering if that sounds about right for an Audi Dealership cost? Thanks, Dan
