Is it an 8L A3? Im looking for instrument cluster ( 8L0920950D ) one with digital display at the bottom of rev counter and speedo? Also if plastic inside the car is black, the storage drawer out the driver seat as well plz? If you could please let me know price including postage to PA3 2EL please and thanks

Bought 2nd hand instrument cluster from Ebay, when you plug it in the car doesn’t idle? Like immobiliser problem? Any help or advice? part numbers are exactly the same

I was wondering do I need to get my car mapped to fit egr blanking kit? Or am I able to fit and go? any help and advice will be appreciated thanks

I was suffering from irregular idle, boost problems as well, was told it was a common fault and thought this was best solution two small self tapping screws, al problems have stopped so far

I will take a picture of what i done to fix mine, stops irratic idling, and boost problems

If you mean this gap on your boost pipe its a common fault bud,

Quick question completely off topic so I apologise just now, headlights on a3 8L can you split the lense off with out damaging it???

I’ve noticed the plastic trim on the bottom of the screen has a channel line if you get what i mean and on the scuttle panel theres a groove type bit that it sits in?? Just asking as mine has never sat right and when on my travels round the breakers yesterday I must have destroyed 3 scuttle panels trying to get the wiper motor out? And wondering if that what was causing my leak and soaking the carpet on passengers side?

Definitely dann and thank you, btw is there a trick to fit the scuttle pannel back properly?? As it’s sitting what a thought was correct but theres a gap between it and bottom of the windscreen?

Just a quick update 😊👍 cars fixed thank god!! Went back to breakers yard with the motor and mine with mechanism to compare properly, found an exact same in a 02 golf fitted it complete with wipers put the bonnet down and hey presto wipers are working again!!! like to thank everyone for all the help an advice

Contacted the breakers yard and was told it was an a4 the motor was removed from? would that make a difference as the guy there said I could take it from a octavia, leon or golf?

Is the any audi specialist or auto spark on this forum near me by any chance?? Not sure what the fault is or was? Car went to a garage 1st time they started playing up and was told a wiper motor was the fault? I have tried a good few only problem is at the start the bonnet was open? a can see me selling it as nothing but problems the now Just wondering, is there not aa way of checking with a volt meter if the motor and wiper stalk is faulty? I remember a friend showing me a wee trick to cheeck abs sensor?? im not a mechanic but do know wee bits and bobs and no scared to get dirty
