I was told to replace the plastic part to fix the fault?? is it as simple as this? Or is changing the plastic parts a big job?

I have tried wd40 loads with no affect? I have taken both door cards off and tried greasing the runner the plastic bit runs on and still no affect? window goes up ever so little then returns to the bottom? But if you open the door place hands on either side of the glass and help it as someone else works the switch the window will close? Not sure if anything is adjustable as 1st Audi i have owned any help is appreciated

Hi all, i own a 2002 3 door A3 (8L) 1.9tdi sport (fwd), the problem is with my 2 front windows, they go down fine but do not return to the top? To close windows properly its a two man job lol, one on the switch other hands on either sude helping the glass back up, i do not let the windows open fully as don’t go back up. please any help or advice appreciated

I bought a 2002 audi A3 (8L2) 1.9tdi sport (130) 6spd, no standard audi concert, tho is equipped with half amplified system, I fitted an old unit i had lying around tho when I connected the iso connectors only the front worked? I found a set of phonos already tapped into the loom and found the amps power wire to get the rear speakers working, rear is delayed and doesn’t sound as good as the front? Is this the norm this way? Is there anyway of making it sound better? Or even hear the sub? Audis normally have good sound systems? any help and advice would be appreciated

Well decided just to put the car in the garage, gearbox out, reconditioned and put back with a new clutch kit 🙏😁 will update when it returns

Does anybody know if i can use the eRP or ERF 6spd gearbox ive been offered will it fit and work properly in my car... plz help

I own a 2002 audi a3 1.9 tdi sport (130) 6spd, i have no 1st or 2nd gear but car still drives fine. I have a gearbox code DRW and i was trying to get 2nd hand 1 from a breaker? I can not find a DRW gearbox 😭 i have been offered an ERF gearbox which is also 6spd? Would this gearbox fit my car and will it work properly? Any help or advice is greatly appreciated many thanks
