Hi both, Apart from asking my mobile mechanic to come round (at his normal hourly rates), to test the battery and alternator efficiency, how else could I achieve this? I know when my alternator went on my Lexus, my recovery company came around and had some tools to test the battery charge and alternator. I've ordered a VCDS lead and will download the sofware, and test - hopefully over the weekend. Thanks, Leigh.

Thanks Gareth, Quick question, as I can't find it in the manual nor online, but where is the battery? I've charged the battery via trickle charger, but lights still keep coming on, so need to change the battery, if I can find it first.... Thanks.

Hi all, I started my A6 Allroad this morning, after having driven it the day before, and received a whole load of messages (see attached). I stopped and started the car, and then it came up with 'Automatic Start/Stop: system fault - Function unavailable. I arrived back home, left the car for a while, started it again, and it then came up with whole host of error messages again, and then reverted back to the 2nd error again. Any ideas? Thanks.
