  3. Hi I have not been on the forum for a while I recently bought a 2.0 TDI Avant Quattro 2011 my 8th Audi and 4th A4 from a very well known dealer with 67000 on the clock. I had the car for 5 weeks had not even done 700 miles when the car lost power on the way home after work. It has been with the dealer for two weeks now and they are saying the car requires a new engine. The car is still under the warranty from the dealer, they have said that they would fit an exchange engine to the car, I am worried that this is not the best option and that the engine may be just an old second hand engine can anyone advise where I stand here, any help would be appreciated.
