    Hi i am a Mercedes owner and have just developed a split on the inside edge of my Dunlop sports Maxx tyres on the front. this was found by chance as the car was only 18 months old and was deflating i called an many garages to see if the would undertake a puncture and found a split on my inside drives tyre. this was around a 3rd the way around the tyre and was horrified to the size of the split. Tyres had tread on and looked ok and legal with nearly 30.000left in the tyre and may have been driving around for 3 months in this condition.
