  1. Hi all, In my case, I now have 4 x continentals on my car as of a couple of weeks ago. Mine are also on their way now to Dunlop. I did not keep one behind but do have ample evidence of the issues. Audi also had supplied the tyres via a local supplier and have health reports on the tyres at the time of Servicing, MOT and the most recent servicing when the problem was identified. In my case as mentioned earlier, it was fine some 7 months ago and with only .5mm tread worn since the last check, all 4 have apparently got the cuts/splits. Dunlop to date have been very helpful in terms of advising and communicating but until they get the tyres, their hands are tied and unfortunately Audi have taken a few weeks to get them sent off. As Anish has mentioned, it will not be a quick turnaround either as they go from Dunlop UK to Dunlop Germany (I think?) before the inspection is complete and the slow process of returning the monies. Will update as and when I get more information but I won't rollover with this one especially as this is the second time I have been hit with a Dunlop tyre issue way earlier than they should have. Mine still had 4-5mm across all 4 remaining so not an expense I was ever expecting this year and maybe not even with this car before I change next year.
  2. I'm going to go back to Conti's I think - Not sure what everyone else is on. I have always had Conti's on the previous A6 cars I've had (both C7 and C6 shapes) and never had any issues apart from not getting as much mileage as the Dunlops but if Safety is an issue here with Dunlops... Mart16 my case mimics yours - 4mm all round, all 4 tyres with inner wall splits, advised via an audi video and 272 2015 too.
  3. Hi all, New poster here and by chance ended up on here with exactly the issue. Car has gone in and had the video sent over to me with deep cuts on all 4. As it's all 4, I had a quick look around as I've not done much mileage on them - all round, I have between 4-5mm so half-way down and they were replaced this time last year due to "cuts" on the old Dunlop GT Maxx tyres. I'll be contacting Dunlop tomorrow at some point and work out what the next course of action is - there has got to be some sort of compensation here - it's all good having pothole damage due to the state of roads in the UK but this is clearly a defect in the tyre.
