  1. Took it to the dealer when it got serviced and they said it's an error with the MMI/CD player module and it just has to be replaced, got it replaced from an aftermarket dealer. I had the MMI basic so it would've been cheaper to upgrade to the MMI high from an aftermarket dealer rather than get it done through Audi. I just had it replaced with a new module, cost half the price Audi was asking for it.
  2. For pads, i'd say just take it down to Kwik Fit since they have the free pads for life offer so you buy pads once, about the same price from audi if not cheaper, and they replace them for free every time they wear out. There are other aftermarket options for pads and discs but I haven't tried any. Unless you go for higher performance pads and disc I don't think there is much difference between different suppliers as there is strict regulation in the EU on safety components such as discs and pads.
  3. Hi Guys, My Q7 recently started giving me this error and none of the MMI buttons work or the CD player, it seems to be in a boot cycle. It says insert data CD and then says parse error and it reboots to retry every 20 seconds. Wanted to ask if there is a quick fix without taking it to the Audi garage as my service is coming up in a couple of weeks and don't want to take it in twice. The car functions fine it's just the MMI system which doesn't work.
