Musa92k Posted June 4, 2013 Share Posted June 4, 2013 Hi Guys, My Q7 recently started giving me this error and none of the MMI buttons work or the CD player, it seems to be in a boot cycle. It says insert data CD and then says parse error and it reboots to retry every 20 seconds. Wanted to ask if there is a quick fix without taking it to the Audi garage as my service is coming up in a couple of weeks and don't want to take it in twice. Do you still have the same problem or did you take it to the dealer and it's been resolved? I am scheduled for the dealer next week myself. Musa92k Posted July 9, 2014 Author Share Posted July 9, 2014 Took it to the dealer when it got serviced and they said it's an error with the MMI/CD player module and it just has to be replaced, got it replaced from an aftermarket dealer. I had the MMI basic so it would've been cheaper to upgrade to the MMI high from an aftermarket dealer rather than get it done through Audi.
