    Hi, Yes, I took mine to the dealers for a check-over but they found nothing wrong. Since then I have found it reasonably economical ~ just nowhere near the figures they claim. This seems usual for all manufacturers, but Audi/VW seem worse than most.

    1.6 TDi, I have just purchased an A3 1.6 TDi Sportback, 1 year old 10k miles. I have found the fuel consumption to be much higher than expected ~ 50 mpg driving like a granny. What kind of consumption should I really expect? Can anything be done?
