    Many thanks to Simon Ryder and to this forum ! The number on my failed sensor is 1606060544094 so the manufacturing period spanned at least two months. I guess that many more Audi owners are about to experience the same problem.

    I have the same problem on my 2016 A4 having done 21,000 miles. I'll be searching for the replacement part asap.
