thanks Gareth, I had my mechanic switch batteries with a spare one and he thought it was not the battery. Another mechanic thought it may be a case of needing to change the alternator. Struggling to decide if i should change alternator and battery, both, and see if that does the trick.

I am unable to start [ with battery bump] my Audi A4. Can you recommend anyone in Sheffield i can take it to be looked at? thanks

I recently acquired a rear damage A4 (saloon) (2013 model). Unfortunately cant get the car to start easily, i can by jumping it but the battery does not seem to keep charge. I have had the rear damage sorted. Any idea what it could be?
