Hi Mike, thanks , I’m in Cornwall! It’s a pain in the !Removed! it’s hit and miss all the time . Also manually folding it some of the seal and fabric came away . So I’m doubly !Removed! off. I don’t know what it is was fine until I took it through a car wash about a year ago stupidly. Georgeous car though ! Do you know how much I could expect to pay if switch , sensor , motor ? Many thanks for your help !

Sorry about that . This roof has been a pain for ages,sometimes it works and mostly it just stops working when closing it and the switch does nothing.I have to use the emergency tool to unlock it and sometimes have to leave it for 30minuets to cool down ,is this normal?.is there anything I can do short of putting in a garage for them to look at? Thanks 😊

Hiya . My roof is playing up , I’ve snapped two tools fooling it manually . It’s so temperamental one day perfect the next half way stuck . Does anyone know where to spray wd40 if any water is getting in . Any tips . I can’t afford a mechanic atm . Much appreciated!!!

Hiya , uploaded images but it may be a glow plug problem but Rac said a few weeks back that glow plugs are still working enough to start it in the cold !

Most likely heater plugs ! ?

Hiya Steve, all sorted , I googled it in the end. I thought the battery would improve how long the engine takes to start but it hasn’t! The old one is only 2 years old ! bit !Removed! off ….

Hiya, does anybody know if I have to reset the alarm/mobiliser when you put a new battery on. It’s an Audi A4 sline 2 l tdi convertible . Much appreciated . Also can manually lock ok. Thanks

Hiya Steve, perfect passenger😊then I’ve not been so lucky I do like my job though I work in mental health . Need to log into eBay and what replies I have . I tried to up load a picture . I will try again to see if it looks like the right one ! I’ve got a Haines manual . It’s called a high pressure diesel pump but the pictures are all different , must admit feel a bit pissec off about it . It’s been nothing but trouble !!! But it’s not too serious I hope !

Hi , have Audi A4 2006 sline convertible 2 l Tdi. Noticed a diesel leak called Rac out and they advised replace pump . Can any help I am going with reconditioned as car has been troublesome money wise although I love it and wouldn’ t sell it ! can anyone give the exact pump off eBay that will definitely fit. Hi , I can’t open my boot to clear what is obstructing the soft top from operating . Does anyone know if there is manual switch inside . Have tried to remove ski bag but can’t do this! Many thanks Ann

Hi Steve, many thanks, I think I know what the problem is . I have a large box in the boot restricting the soft top! Trying to figure out how to get the boot open! The electric car was surprisingly nice to drive but my car is soo much better 😊

Hi Gareth, much appreciated. I took it through a car wash as well and the water got into the tail lights . Fingers crossed ! I’ve also just realised I have a box in the back which could be blocking the soft top. Thanks for your advice much appreciated😊

Hi Steve, is it the tool in with the fuses? And do I get to it via the rear seats ! I just didn’t connect the two ,the box and room in boot for the roof . Many thanks . 😊

Hi Steve, god I’m so stupid !! I’ve got a massive cardboard box in the boot that will be preventing the flap from going up !!! Is the actuator the tool in with the fuses to lock the roof ? Thanks so much for this 😊
